Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Our Commitment to Combating Modern Slavery
At LSYS, we are committed to fulfilling our responsibilities as a corporate citizen with integrity and accountability. We acknowledge our duty to take proactive steps in identifying and mitigating the risks of slavery and human trafficking in both our business operations and supply chains. This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) and the supplementary guidance on Transparency in Supply Chains published by the UK Government in March 2025.
Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains primarily consist of full-time employees, key contractors, and professional advisers, all of whom are based domestically. Some of our support services are located abroad, but we work exclusively with reputable and professional companies that meet our high standards. While we believe the risk of modern slavery or human trafficking within our supply chains is relatively low, we are mindful of the potential threats, particularly within the IT services sector. We remain committed to combating modern slavery and fulfilling our responsibility to take effective steps to address this issue.
Our Policies and Procedures
We have implemented a number of policies and procedures that reflect our commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all business relationships. These measures help us identify and prevent any potential instances of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains. Our key policies include:
- Anti-Money Laundering Policy
- Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
- Whistleblowing Policy (Encouraging staff to report any concerns regarding unethical practices)
Our Approach to Contractors
As part of our due diligence process, we require contractors to confirm their compliance with all relevant legal requirements, including the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act. We aim to ensure that all business partners adhere to the same ethical standards that we uphold within our organisation.
Training and Awareness
We understand the importance of raising awareness and equipping our staff to identify and respond to modern slavery risks within our business and supply chains. Regular training and resources are provided to ensure our team members are well-informed and vigilant in identifying potential risks and taking appropriate actions.
